*Sevdan Bir Ateş* – Summary/Synopsis
The story begins with the disappearance of Leyla just hours before her wedding to Mirza. The lives of the couple—who were deeply in love—change abruptly; a heartbroken Mirza hears nothing from Leyla for years. Seven years later, Mirza decides to move on with his life and prepares to marry Destan.
Just as Mirza believes everything is finally on the right track, his seven-month-old nephew, Kerem, is kidnapped by his own father—a human trafficker. Mirza travels to Aleppo, Syria, to find his nephew, only to cross paths with Leyla—a woman he hasn’t heard from in seven years. However, the life Leyla leads now is vastly different from the one Mirza remembers. Furthermore, Leyla is accompanied by Hüma, Mirza’s six-year-old daughter—a child whose existence he was completely unaware of.
With no knowledge of what transpired over the last seven years, Mirza embarks on a dangerous mission to bring Leyla and Hüma back from Syria to Cappadocia. This journey forces him to face a difficult choice between Destan and Leyla. Meanwhile, the mystery remains: where was Leyla during those seven years, why did she disappear, and why did she keep Hüma’s existence a secret from Mirza?
